ARC App | Working safely on electrical installations

Textile innovator Kees demonstrates how the degree of protection in terms of cal/cm2 and the flash protection boundary can be calculated based on relevant data from an electrical installation.

The app suggests appropriate PPE and helps electricians check what workwear should be worn when working on the electrical installation in question.

Infinity Hub | Circular business textiles in action

Els & Nele demonstrate how Infinity Hub is building a complete ecosystem to recover and reuse every fiber from used workwear. You will learn how it is possible to give used workwear and safety clothing a purpose that goes far beyond insulation flakes or cleaning rags. The tangible results achieved by Els & Nele give you a genuine insight into what works and what doesn't in the field of circular corporate textiles.

PFAS-free barriers

Stricter EU regulations require new ways of repelling oil and water. Materials engineer Lisa shows how fluorocarbon-free alternatives such as C0 work compared to current solutions. You will leave the session with a clear framework for choosing workwear that is future-proof, circular, and economically viable.

soluble_yarn_600x400

Soluble Yarns | A brand new solution

Traditional workwear is sturdy, but the stitching prevents high-quality recycling. Soluble Yarn changes this radically. In this workshop, given by Davor Ivanov, Product Services & Quality Specialist, you will discover how material recycling is possible without damaging textile fibers and without a lot of manual work, thus achieving truly circular high-performance workwear.

purfi_600x400px

Purfi | No Such Thing as Waste

Purfi transforms both pre- and post-consumer textile waste back into fibers. This is done using a unique process called “soft mechanical” recycling. PurFi starts with dismantled and clean fabrics or knits which, after passing through our machine, are turned back into fibers that are the same length and strength as the original material.

Jean-Marie and Koen will use examples to show how workwear and protective clothing can be designed in a circular manner.

GORE | Leightweight Rescue Protection

Specialist speaker Rainer Glaesemer highlights what technical rescue teams really need: light, flexible garments that still deliver reliable protection.

You will learn about key test standards, flame testing methods, and practical do’s and don’ts for safe use. The session also addresses logistical challenges in call-outs and shows how multifunctional solutions can make a real difference in practice.

GORE | Safety and comfort in ARC protection PPE is not a contradiction.

Protective workwear against arc flash does not have to be heavy or uncomfortable. This session explains how true safety in PPE goes hand in hand with comfort – defined as the absence of discomfort.

You will be introduced to the ARC-rated PYRAD® uniform by GORE-TEX Labs, a solution that combines reliable protection with outstanding wearability. The workshop shows how the technology works and why it can make a difference for those who need both maximum safety and long-term comfort on the job.
